<p><strong> Fun facts about Alfa Romeo GTA! </ strong></p>
<p>Alfa Romeo GTA is a car manufactured by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo 1965 to 1971. It was made for racing and road.</p>
<p>At that time, Alfa Romeo was very active in motor sport. Autodelta, Racing Division developed a car for both track and street. These cars were named GTA instead of GT, &#8220;A&#8221; stands for &#8220;Alleggerita&#8221; Italian for light.</p>
<p>GTA was made for the first time 1965, 1600 (1570 cc) and later as a 1300 Junior version. GTA cars were also produced in two versions (Stradale) or (Corsa).</p>
<p>GTA had aluminum body instead of steel, magnesium wheels, and special help handle clear plastic window, relieved interior and much more.</p>
<p>The engine was a new double ignition system called (Twin Spark, dual plugs) 45 mm carburetors instead of 40 mm and magnesium camshaft, and much more.</p>
<p>The Stradale version was the car boasts 115 hp (113 kW hk/85) The Corsa variant were picked out 170 hp (168 hp/125 kW). 1</p>
<p>Total 500 cars were made for racing and road. </p>

<p>Porsche was like many other automakers never really interested in the rally but did what was needed for marketing purposes. At least they tried to make it even with its own factory team 911 (which ironically would have been 901, but it was denied them because it was a long-standing reputation Peugeot numbers!)</p>
<p>Porsche 911 was a car that required a hefty touch to be ok in the rally here. Despite private efforts were, however, no success. It was a good car that fared well in the classes that can be compared with today&#8217;s group N.</p>
<p>But Porsche&#8217;s real effort came in 1968 with a famous förarduo by Vic Elford and Pauli Toivonen. Which according to Porsche&#8217;s leadership could be a really good concept as to 1: 1 911 was an excellent car for the rally and that they had opportunities to win the legendary Monte Carlo Rally.<br />
What was peculiar was that the two models were tested in parallel. 912 was a 4-cylinder version of the 911 and 914, the so-called VW &#8211; Porsche. The strange thing was that the Swedish driver Bjorn Waldegard could have won a triple victory of the Monte Carlo Rally with Porsche. This failed, unfortunately.</p>
<p>Porsche rally engagement lasted only until the early 1970s. They had some kind of a comeback in the Safari Rally in 1978, where they finished with a respectable second place, but they were beaten by a Peugeot 504 which was covered in mud and dents, with more than half an hour, which seemed to break Porsche&#8217;s pride and to was the last rally drive from Porsche.</p>
<p>However, there has been much more experimental with the Porsche 911 than that. The most famous team, the French Almera team put up with Porsches in Monte Carlo and then won the Tour de Corse 1980 with Jean-Luc Theria.<br />
It was the last victory in a Porsche at WRC level.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Running historic racing is something special. In vänatan on any new material at home so we can take this opportunity to describe a bit about what it is like to race cars in the Amazon, or Lotus Cortina Alfa Romeo GTA.</p>
<p>Cars of this dignities are not only beautiful to look at. They are also very backert to hear them out on the course!</p>
<p>For a car to be approved by standardbil shall have produced in over 1000 exemeplar for a year, and it would be mplats for at least 4 people.</p>

<p>This is a great community if you look at the number of participants. So popular in fact, separating the leg in two.</p>
<p>One of the smaller cars, such as DKW, SAAB, Renault Gordini and &#8220;Dog huts&#8221; with the smaller engine and a heat of the slightly larger cars like Ford Cortina, Volvo Amazon and the spectacular V8 rumbling Ford Mustang and Falcon.</p>
